As parents, there are many instances in which we find ourselves living vicariously through our children. For instance, prom night. Or summer camp. (What would you give for a couple of weeks of unencumbered summer fun?!) Sure there are the pageant moms, who catch heat for living through their kids. And stage moms in general are kind of unbearable. But we’ll give you a pass if we see you climbing into this little lap of luxury trying to reclaim a bit of your babyhood. Go on, friend. Taste a bit of the good life. Live vicariously all you want. We’re not here to judge …

Behold, the SwiviSeat High Chair by Graco! (Can you hear the choirs of angels singing?)

How do we love thee? Let us count the ways!

NEW FAVE: SwiviSeat High Chair by Graco

COST: $199.99 from babiesrus.com

WHY WE’RE IN LOVE:

This high chair? Well, let’s just say it’s the Cadi of child dining. So many features, where shall we start?! Well, how about the foot rest? It can be adjusted to three different heights … grows with Baby, which is always a bonus. And the height of the chair? That’s adjustable too! Seven different levels. (Sensing the customization theme here?) Moving on …

The removable insert offers added padding for pint-sized eaters, and when the prunes don’t quite make it into the piehole? Well, pluck that padding off the highchair and wash it, for goodness sakes!

But wait … there’s more!

Beneath the removable insert is a whole new world of luxury. The vinyl seat (easy clean!!) even sounds like the leather interior of a Cadi when you strap your little love in for lunch … with the five-point harness, mind you!

The removable tray slides in and out quite easily — a quick grip and in and out it goes. But the piece de resistance on this bad boy is the removable pop-out tray cover. It features built-in, pre-formed spaces that are perfect for holding different types of foods (MUST. KEEP. FOODS. SEPARATE!). Remove it for cleaning (it’s dishwasher safe only if it fits in your dishwasher), and it snaps right back on for the next meal.

Bonus points:

Well, it’s called the SwiviSeat for a reason. A quick push of a button, and the seat turns in any direction. Plus the seat back reclines, which is great for beginning eaters who need a little more support.

We know, we know. It’s hard to believe this high chair isn’t just a figment of our imagination. Well, lest you call us liars, here it is in all of its glory. Enjoy! And then go order one for your sweet muffin!
