One of the best parts of Halloween is the fun of dressing up. It’s the one day of the year when kids (and some adults) can play make-believe and not look like a total weirdo, and scanning any group or trick-or-treaters is a great way to gauge what’s popular in American culture.

Here are some of the latest trends in kids costumes, according to HalloweenCostumes.com, the world’s largest online costume retailer:

Disney

Disney costumes are always popular Halloween choices for kids, but unlike other years that saw a huge purchase spike in one or two specific characters (we’re looking at you, Anna and Elsa), Disney interest is more widely distributed across multiple entities in 2015. Popular choices include characters from Inside Out, as well as Descendants, Big Hero 6 and Miles from Tomorrowland.

Dinosaurs

We’ve yet to meet a boy under the age of six who isn’t completely infatuated with dinosaurs, and that popularity is spilling over into Halloween costumes. Truth be told, dinosaur costumes are always popular, but thanks to the new Jurassic World movie you can expect to see a lot more T-Rexes ringing your doorbell on Halloween. In the past, there wasn’t a wide variety of dinosaur costumes available, but HalloweenCostumes.com is appealing to all prehistoric tastes with corduroy dinosaur costumes, pink versions, fossil versions and officially-licensed movie styles.

TV Characters

There is a large percentage of parents who would be more than happy to never see another episode of Paw PatrolPeppa Pig or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But kids, on the other hand, can’t get enough. And what better way to display your ultimate fandom than through a cool Halloween costume? Costumes from these shows have been particularly in-demand this year.

Star Wars

Like Disney costumes, Star Wars costumes are perennially popular for kids. But in advance of the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, that fervor has reached a fever pitch. And a whole new cast of characters means that kids also have a whole new set of costumes to choose from. Costumes featuring new stars Finn, Rey, Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma are some of the year’s most popular options.

No matter what your kid is into, the fact remains that Halloween is just a couple weeks away, and time is running out to pick up a costume (that is, unless you opt to make you own). While some parents have been planning for the festivities for months, we know that others still have no idea what costume their kids will wear on the 31st. If that’s you—and your DIY skills are less than great—you’re in luck.
