Vitamin A and its precursor, betacarotene, are found in carrots, apricots, sweet potatoes and other orange and yellow vegetables and fruits. Vitamin C is plentiful in tomatoes, oranges and blueberries. An ounce of sunflower seeds is a tasty snack that’s packed with 7.4 milligrams of vitamin E. Get even more vitamin E by including peanuts, almonds and hazelnuts in your diet.

Be grateful for green tea. Green tea is a less processed, non-fermented tea known to have cell protection properties. It contains an impressive quantity of powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory polyphenols. Recent research shows some compounds in green tea may also help in protecting skin from developing cancer.

Water your skin youthful. Maintaining a healthy level of hydration is positively crucial in keeping your skin looking its best. Not only does water improve circulation in your skin, it also aids in the delivery of nutrients to the skin. When you’re dehydrated, your skin loses its plumpness and elasticity.

Supplemental nutrients. The effectiveness of supplements is a hotly debated topic. It is best to attain the beneficial nutrients from dietary sources because the nutrients in food are readily absorbed and often come in groups that are complementary.
